- Load : the amount
of work prompted by the combination (series x repetitions x intensity
x recuperation) of a training session. The word 'load' is also often
used to refer to the resistance used during a strength exercise
(eg.: 100kg)..
- Long-term recuperation ( between
sessions ) : process which allows the muscular, endocrinian
and nervous systems to pass from a state of transitory fatigue to
a state of complete regeneration, where the level of each component
of the physical condition desired during training rises above the
initial values.
